I am trying to find the names of these wrestlers. I have an old copy of Time Life's This Fabulous Century that has a photograph of all of the wresters in this clip.

Perhaps the answer to your question is in some of my comments below?? I don't recall having called amateur wrestling professional. Perhaps you were confused by my previous statments regarding my materials. To re-phrase:

My primary sources for amateur wrestling are spotty beyond the 1930s. I have nothing on the Wilkes.

With respect to professional wrestling (were you wanting info), I have little interest in it beyond the 1930s and likewise have limited primary material on it.

I don't understand the question. Please re-phrase.

What do you have circa 1960's on The Wilkes?
cnhatton (March 9, 2008 at 5:28 pm)
Nothing. I have material up to the 1960s, but aside from AT show wrestling, I have little interest in professional catch-as-catch-can wrestling beyond c.1930. My amateur materials are likewise very spotty beyond that time. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Why do you call amateur wrestling "professional."

Would pay a good $ for film of the 1963 and 1964 matches; the chance of getting such a find is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000-1 against.
