I don't really understand his point with the V-1s and V-2s, both were only used during the last year of the war a long time after the USA had joined the war.
Of course as they were produced in underground factories, nor was there a possibility of intercepting a V-2, neither the RAF nor the USAAF could stop em.
Ok if it comes to the V-1 more than half of em were destroyed by RAF fighters, flaks and co. before they reached their target.
