I wonder if the song was dedicated to the earquakes survivor.
Hippies were the ideologists for hopes and flowers blooming, well ok then ended up smoking them instead some manage to grow old. That's an achievement in some part of the world.

SF is mos def not LA's twin brother. SF hates LA, we always have BEAT LA signs posted everywhere. Nor-Cal VS. So-Cal signs. LA to SF is more like the second cousin of the once removed wife from the father's side
