Regina Spektor singing "Rockland County". Unfortunately, the recording apparently ends prematurely, but this is the only version of this song out there, AFAIK.

Rockland County is the suburban county 12 miles northwest of New York City.

Good question, I would like to guess 2001-2002? Probably around the time 11:11 and Songs were released, and well before Begin to Hope...

I don't really know for sure though...never been able to find the date

Aww, I wish someone knew! I think it was probably around '02 or '03, more around the time when Songs was releaed. I think her voice changed a bit between the recording of 11:11 and songs.

that is a great song!!! kind of freaky, kind of lovely, kind of artistic, kind of coool! yeah REGINKA rocks...

now she´s my favorite femal songwriter! many of her songs are great stuff!
