The original Clean Air Act took more than a decade to write.Congress
will not solve the climate problem with one piece of
legislation.With 50 year targets,untested markets,and new
technologies coming on line, climate change legislation will continue
to be a focus of Congress and the Administration for the foreseeable
future. One thing seems clear:the next Administration will likely be
far more proactive in dealing with climate change than the current
one.Emissions and energy trading is a key strategy to lower carbon
footprints of businesses and this panel will discuss the status quo
as well as the possible future of it.
