Africa is a big place, and is not universally "screwed up". The places where people do the best are where they do not live under Leftist regimes. Even Muslim nations like those in North Africa do better than places like Angola, Mozambique or Rhodesia. South Africa is now "messed up" (with skyrocketing crime rates and "farm killings"), not because Blacks are running it but because the ANC, a Marxist group, is now in power.
