Hey I love the guy fingerstyle for life. But still a bassist saying, "Because it really is all about the guitars" Thats not true, at all.

In this genre of music, it's absolutely true, sir. Myself being a bass player for 12 years, you have to know where not to play just as well as where to play.

Of course where to play and where not to play has nothing to do with the bassist part. But that not what i was saying. He said its "Really all about the guitarist" Thats just a broad statement. Even in this genre, the bassist plays a huge role. Bands like Cannibal Corpse and Decapitated would be empty without the bassist. The bass guitar just brings lower frequencies, thus is why 7 string guitars were made. Other then that one statement, I really appreciate this guy, + for fingerstyle.

im gonna have to disagree with the hardness of the bass, personally i think its easy, and i play with fingers also, you dont have to do it like he does it
