Part 1 of 3 of LHB's experience during the Texas v Iowa State evacuated game.

LHB is stuck under DKR Memorial Stadium because of severe lightning at the end of the 3rd quarter of the game. I was trying (unsuccessfully) to take pictures of lightning bolts when I decided that videotaping would be a better way to capture any. Nothing was happening so I made this mock news report.

oh man i remember that! i was there in the alumni band. We took off back to the band building as soon as we saw the lightning. That was the hottest day i had felt in a looong time, and i'm from Vegas! The rain was welcome.

Haha...I was in the stadium during that game. I was working a concession stand, which is why they didn't make me go downstairs. It was some freaky shit.

I live in Hyde Park and had some chicken on the smoker in the backyard so we had to hightail it out of there before they delayed the game.. barely made it back in time.
