I did try for a while to listen to people and be open minded. I still am open minded to some extent. But sometimes you get some idiots that think they know smth, and just start saying shit without having any idea of what they are talking about, or about how offensive they can be. So then you can't really be open minded anymore. So it's not really that simple..sometimes you got to stand up for what you believe in, especially in matters of common sense, when you know you're right.

yeah, that's a good point. I believe that listening to people who have something to say...like this guy is a good exercise and to take all of what they say on board is great. However, to follow all instruction in any situation at any time in any walk of life is a terrible thing , it can mess everything up, get you hurt, out of a friend or anything. You always need to question instruction and don't let things get the better judgment of you. Always make your own mind up.....
