Patrick Henry Hughes - Inspirational Story
BackPatrick Hughes is a young man at Univ. of Louisville who was born blind and crippled and yet now plays the piano beautifully as well as "marches" in the Louisville marching band. This was a piece done during ESPN College Gameday on 12/2/2006.
Note: I am not affiliated with the Hughes family. Just someone who finds their story wonderful.

wow. Patrick's father is a great man. He could have given up on his son and walked away, but he molded his son into something and gave him a purpose in life rather than just being a disabled person.

I can Listen to Patrick play all day. He is an amazing young man. How can one not believe in GOD when you see someone like Patrick play and sing.

Do you have to stuff god into every hole you see?

How can you not!! Apparantly you don't believe in him...so I'm not gonna bother with you. Not worth my time. Adios!!

Aaaa - ok. I have to believe in him first! I'll try next time.
You say: "How can one not believe in GOD". This is like saying that "there must be something wrong with who dont believe in fairytales and bullshit!"
Patrick Henry must have worked hard for his success, absolutely nothing to do with a god.

God gave him the Gift of life and musical talent. So God did help out. You need to try and be more positive and supportive of other people. Who cares what someone thinks about God, focus on your own beliefs... I just think that you should be more positive along with all the other negative people around... it is a nice thing to do.

they remember the billions of children born into disease and poverty and the innocent victims of war. pity "GOD" can't allocate his time more appropriately to those who don't stand a chance of surviving past their first birthday.
