HAL(Hybrid Assistive Limb) from Cyberdine
BackHAL 5 or Hybrid Assistive Limb 5 is a robot suit (aka artificial powered exoskeleton) developed by Yoshiyuki Sankai who is the professor of Tsukuba University of Japan.
HAL 5 is currently capable of allowing the operator to lift and carry nearly twice as much weight as they could lift and carry unaided

It could be really good for people with permanent injuries as well, giving them back normal function and independence.

I could see these things being HUGE in 20 years of so.
Think about it, how many possibilities would this open up (being able to lift 5-10 times what you normally could). You could have potentially have old men pushing around cars.
If they ever become cheap enough I'll probable get one just to make moving things easier. LOL.
