Travel with the Vikings across the North Sea on a journey from Norway to Hadleigh in Essex. Sail with them down the thames estuary. Past Southend pier, the Cliffs Pavillion and Leigh on Sea . March with the Vikings through Leigh marshes and Hadleigh downs before eventually arriving at Hadleigh castle. Watch the Vikings smash their way through the castle's feeble defences and discover what's inside as Kirk douglas enter's the castle for a couple of pints and instigates a barroom brawl. Ironically, this is what lead's to Kirk's untimely death at the hands of himself? Watch and find out how this fascinating saga unfolds.

Beowulf & Grendel is far more realistic then "Beowulf" IMHO.
As far as movies showing viking society. No. Sadly. I've been looking forever and have viewed one on you tube, alas I can't seem to find it again. (that one was more archeological)

Why would anyone try to destroy a classic like the Vikings? I guess it takes all kinds of stupid people to make up this world. Now I know why the Vikings would completely destroy a village, probably had people like that.

the jokes in this film is beyond gay its not funny and the vikings were not jokes.
