The only reason this play was not voted #1 at the ESPY's was because this game wasn't of national importance like the Fiesta Bowl. Which is a shame because this play was better than the statue of liberty and it should be based by the actual play itself. I'm a WVU fan but that was one hell of a block that broke Revis free down the sideline.

This was the 2006 edition of the Backyard Brawl, since it was at Pittsburgh. The 2007 edition was the one that took WVU out of the National Championship game.

This was totally of national importance. It knocked WVU out of the national championship game, correct? Plus, it won them the "Backyard Brawl", which is a rivalry game.

I think it didn't get voted simply because Boise State was hyped as a "Cinderella story" all year, even before the bowl game.
