"you just asked how team performance affects his individual production"
To answer that, I'll quote U again. I'll put in brackets the key word(s):
"If the rest of his team is playing like shit then yea... [he] kind of has to step up.."
Who has to step up? That's what I thought..
When kobe takes & makes or misses a shot, blocks a shot, makes a steal, assist, etc., "HE'S" the one that's attributed that play!
"Individual" performance/production is the FOUNDATION of team performance..

lol i think it's funny how you just asked how team performance affects his individual production.... If the rest of his team is playing like shit then yea... he kind of has to step up and make up for it by shooting more...i thought you would be smart enough to make that connection yourself but apparently not...anyways im done lol you're simply talking statistics instead of playing the game of basketball as a whole

It's interesting how U guys scapegoat kobe's "TEAMS" for "HIS" individual shortcomings, but U guys when discussing the Cavs & their shortcomings as a team, U IMMEDIATELY point to Lebron's "INDIVIDUAL" production..
His cast isn't as good as Kobe's & he STILL posts BETTER production across the board!
When Lebron's team loses, U guys will say it's because of "HIS" lack of ability. But if kobe's team loses & we look at "HIS" production, U quickly blame his "TEAM" LOL!
U guys are a trip LOL!

What the hell does his "TEAM" have to do with his "INDIVIDUAL" exploits/production?
When they were 3-peating, he couldn't shoot over 45% & he "PLAYED" with good teamates & a "DOMINANT" center, who "OPENED UP" the lanes & perimeter for him due to all the double/triple teaming..
Now he's the "MAIN" guy, with a "SOLID" group around him, & he "STILL" can't shoot over 45% from the floor!
U guys crack me up with trying to scapegoat kobe's team for his "INDIVIDUAL" production..LOL!!

"you're saying lebron is better than kobe?"
If one guy is "CONSISTENTLY" producing BETTER results in EVERY individual category from a production standpoint & is 5-0 in their last meetings & he had BETTER production across the board in those last meetings, well..I'd say I have a LEGITIMATE argument in making a case for that..
And we're discussing "HOW WELL" kobe & Lebron "CONSISTENTLY" & INDIVIDUALLY play, not how well the cletics played vs either of them..

AND kobe's cast didnt do shit to help him during the finals, check gasol's fisher's and odom's stats or better yet, watch the games again if you know anything about basketball than you'll see why kobe had to take so many shots to keep his team in the game...
Mlanders09 (December 3, 2008 at 9:34 pm)
bullshit....thas bullshit lol I cant even believe that you're even saying that. Just to let you know blackadam since you seem to be talking alot and debating about all of this.
1) you're saying lebron is better than kobe? 2)you're saying that lebron would have won last year if he was with the cast kobe had last year? lol thats funny, because if you watched the finals and semi conf finals last year you would have noticed that The celtics played much better against the lakers.

rurulim87 (November 28, 2008 at 6:09 am)
who hate kobe ? jz face him on the court...
Has kobe made some clutch shots? Yes. But as of "recent", he was "ONLY" 1-6 in '08 & has only 2 game winners in the last 5 yrs (vs seattle last year & vs phoenix in the '06 playoffs)
82games (.) com/CSORT11 (.) HTM <--the Top "Clutch" players from last year.
See where the so called "experts" ranked Lebron & Kobe. You'd be surprised LOL!!
