No chance, basketball like every single nation outside america is a minority niche game...its non competitive recreational pastime. China its table tennis and football...basketball wouldnt register and any Olympic event was only fleeting interest.

That would be Bobby Knight's infamous chair throw from a college basketball game in the '80s. I think the game was Indiana vs. Perdue.
